The UK union flag (or union jack) was introduced in 1606 to represent the regal union of England and Scotland. It was formed by joining the flags of England and Scotland together.

Greek Flag Meaning:
(Greek: Σημαία της Ελλάδος, popularly referred to as the Γαλανόλευκη or the Κυανόλευκη, the "blue-white") is based on nine equal horizontal stripes of blue alternating with white. There is a blue canton in the upper hoist-side corner bearing a white cross; the cross symbolizes Greek Orthodoxy, the established religion of the people of Greece and Greek Cypriots .
According to popular tradition, the nine stripes represent the nine syllables of the phrase "Ελευθε ία ή Θάνατος" ("Freedom or Death", " E-lef-the-ri-a i Tha-na-tos"), the five blue stripes for the syllables "Έλευθε ία" and the four white stripes "ή Θάνατος".
There is also a different theory, that the nine stripes symbolize the nine Muses, the goddesses of art and civilization (nine has traditionally been one of the numbers of reference for the Greeks).
The above patterns were officially adopted by the First National Assembly at Epidaurus on 13 January 1822. Blue and white have many interpretations, symbolizing the colours of the famed Greek sky and sea (combined with the white clouds and waves), traditional colours of Greek clothes in the islands and the mainland, etc.

Flag of the United States of America
Fifty white stars on a blue canton represent the 50 states. Thirteen stripes alternating red and white represent the original 13 colonies that rebelled against the British monarchy. The colors do not officially have any specific meaning. However, the same colors on the Great Seal signify purity & innocence (white), hardiness & valour (red) and vigilance, perseverance & justice (blue).
Colorado State Flag
Three stripes alternating blue-white-blue represent the clear blue skies and snow capped Rocky Mountains. A red letter "C" represents the characteristic red soil and a gold disc in the center of the "C" represents abundant sunshine.

Flag of Turkey
The crescent moon and star were holy symbols for pre-Islamic Turkish tribes, while red was the cardinal colour for west in ancient Turkic culture. In Turkish tradition, red also represents hegemony, while white represents power, justice, exaltation and purity. Göktürks, a pre-Islamic Turkic people who lived in Central Asia, used crescent and star on their coins. A 1500 years old Göktürk coin includes three figures of a crescent moon and a star around the possible figure of a leader.
The most accepted legend of the flag in Turkey is that during a battle in a pool of blood of Turkish warriors, there was a reflection of the crescent moon and a star. In the year 1071, after the Battle of Manzikert and the defeat of the Byzantine army, the Seljuk Khan, Alp Arslan was roaming the battlefield where he saw the reflection of the crescent moon and the star on a pool of blood of Turkish warriors. After he saw this image, he decided that this would be the flag representing the Turks. In actuality the star on the Turkish flag is not actually a star but a real formation formed by the moon and mercury.
Today there are several countries with flags similar to the Turkish flag. Many of these are Turkic countries that share culture and/or language. Similar flags are the Flag of Uyghuristan(East Turkestan), however they use skyblue instead of red, as skyblue and the sky has a very deep pre-Islamic meaning for Turks.
Azerbaijan , one of the independant Turkic nations, has the crescent and the star in the middle in the red area of it's flag. Two other independant Turkic states (Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan) have a crescent and one or more stars on their flag.
A non-Turkic people that has a very similar flag to the Turkish one is the people of Aceh. It bears an obvious resemblance to the flag of Turkey; presumably dating from the devoutly Muslim inhabitants of 16th century Aceh who declared allegiance to the Ottoman Sultan and Caliph Suleiman the Magnificent in 1566 and asked for his support against the encroaching Portuguese and Dutch, upon which the Ottoman Indian Ocean Fleet under Kurtoğlu Hızır Reis arrived at Aceh in 1569.

Re: what is the meaning of your country flag? please tell!
Argentina's flag was designed by Manuel Belgrano in 1812.
When Napoleon took over Spain in 1810, most american colonies raised against his regime, claiming they would only recognize Fernando VII as king, who was a prisoner of Napoleon.
So, when Belgrano created his flag, the government in Buenos Aires did not want him to raise it, since they were still pretending to be loyals to the (imprisoned) king, and a new flag would point out very clearly that they were claiming at Independence.
It is said that the colours of the flag resemble the colours of the Bourbon house, which is the Royal family of Fernando VII (Also, of current Spain's king, Juan Carlos).
Around 1818-1820 an Argentine fleet leaded by Hipólito Bouchard fought the Spanish along the Pacific coast of Central America, and that is a reason for so many Central American flags (Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras) resembling Argentine flag.
