When I try to Quick Post my Flag Counter to Live Journal I get a Post Failed error. What am I doing wrong?

probably you have to modify the html instruction. You should check if LiveJournal is using contructions like that [a href = ...] .. [/a] instead of that <a href = ...> .....</a>
Can you post your URL? It is sometimes useful to check the source code LiveJournal generates.
