Do they have a ccTLD?
Speaking of Wales: Wales loses virtual turf war with Caymans over .cym domain name

Re: Welsh,Scotish and English flags ?
As far as I know they all come under .co.uk what I didn't know is that they had applied for the cym domain, shame we lost out on that one thanks for the link.maybe if we hadn't the Welsh flag would be flying also .
By the way welsh longest .com domain name.
The Welsh town actually exists and its name translates as "The church of St. Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees near the rapid whirlpool by St. Tysilio's of the red cave".
LOL have a good weekend.

Re: Welsh,Scotish and English flags ?
Pillandia -
you've got the wrong end of the stick, my friend! We're not looking for separate flags at the national flag level, but at the regional flag level! Just like state flags for the US, or province flags for Canada.
And - for your information - the Queen is not on all Scottish or Northern Irish banknotes; Wales doesn't have separate bank notes. It's always better to check your facts before posting!!

Scotland and Northern Ireland as Meiriongwril stated has there own money you won't find the queen on any of there notes. As for not deserving the flag well you only have to drive into Wales or Scotland to see the flags flying high.We have our own identity and welsh is getting increasingly more common and is written on everything from bills to road signs.Would be nice at the least to see a regional flag.
Check your facts.
Cymru am byth.

Re: Welsh,Scotish and English flags ?
Nobody mentioned Australian back notes because the topic is about Wales,Scotland and England
which was the first entry I entered about this subject. So lets bring Northern Ireland into it.
The Union Jack Represents Scotland,England,And Northern Ireland.
St. George's Cross, the flag of England
St. Andrew's Cross, the flag of Scotland
St. Patrick's Cross, the flag of Ireland
The Welsh dragon was not incorporated into the Union Flag
So how does this flag represent Wales ?
Surely we have the right to fly our own flag also or have it incorporated in the Union Jack?
or do we not exist ?
As far as I'm concerned we are "4 countries within a country with boarders which forms a union called the United Kindom which is represented by the Union Jack except Wales.
Lets just agree to disagree.
On another note
Seen the blog about
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch
don't ask me to say it
Well written.

Re: Welsh,Scotish and English flags ?
There are suggestions for Union Flags that incorporate St David's cross for Wales (yellow cross on black) with the other three crosses. See one at
and another (preferable in my view) at: scroll to post 4.
Let us know what y'all think!!
