Flagcounter reset
Hi !
I have a problem with my flagcounter. Yesterday, all the s02 and s04 counters stopped working for several hours, but a few minutes before this crash, my flagcounter reset itself. I am a flag collector since 19th July 2009 and I have 231 countries and over 2.5 million pageviews. But, yesterday, suddenly, my flagcounter said I have collected 11 flags ?!?!
And, this is not due to inactivity, because I have visits daily and it's been so since I started.
After the s02 and s04 counters were back, my counter continued to count visitors, but from 11 flags. Currently, I have 197 countries.
But, my pageviews are counting from the old number - was around 2.550.000 before reset, now it is around 2.565.000.
Plus if I expand the United States category, I can see that I have all 51 countries collected and about 16.000 visitors from California, and the 'new' counter says I collected around 1.000 US visitors. This is the obvious proof that this is a bug and that my old counter is still out there somewhere on the server...
I don't know whom I can talk about this problem and to ask to get this fixed.
I have a complete list (including a snapshot) of my counter just before the crash, with all my countries and number of visitors, so I don't think it's a big problem to get it back. (I know that some flag collectors had issues with their flagcounters and now have some countries with the date 1 January 1970, but I don't know was that this same kind of issue)
My stats are still there, visible and the counter can be recovered.
It's just that I don't know how to contact the administrators... Thank you in advance for your help.

Jeremy will normally take care on such problems.
I guess he is absence the recent days.
If the problem consists try to use the contact feedback form.

@ Jens: Thanks for the tip and information. I hope that Jeremy will see my messages soon and help me solve this problem. It is not a difficult task to get my counter back, since all the stats are still there, just the list of countries is messed up... Thanks again for the reply.
@ Lars2001: Nope, my counter is not the old, I had 231 countries... :| You can see my pageviews, I have over 2.5 million and I can't have that in two days

Chack,
Your Flag Counter has been restored. The s04 issues led to s04 being extremely overloaded with this being an unfortunate side effect of that. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Thank you also for the reply... I guess it was bad luck that precisely my flagcounter suffered from this. And also that you were absent for a few days and I was worried all that time if you would recover my FC.
And thank you for manually adding my Nauru flag. I suppose that you've returned my FC to a previously back-uped version (I'm a professional software engineer, so I know about that ). Like I already mentioned, I have a snapshot with number of visitors from each country, so I can see that this back-up was done a few hours before the crash, and now I have some visitors number smaller than I had. But, it's not that important. It is however important that I still have Nauru, besides all the other countries that I collected so far, although Nauru came after the reset.
But, that's all over now
I hope that this won't happen again and my luck will get better Have a nice day !

The s04 isn´t still working, but my flagcounter will need to be restored too

no, i still have all my flags. My statistics were saying that i had no visitors since 1970 but now everything is ok again
