Lost all flags
Jeremy:
As of 1:30 A.M. this morning, I have lost all of my flags. I had counters for Recent visitors, Canada, U.S. and World. Is there any way of retreiving this information or will I have to start all over again.
The worst thing that could happen, just has.
I should have added that it was for the site - htttp:huntingfoxes.tribalpages.com

Re: Lost all flags
I can't seem to find the Flag Counter on the site you've listed. Where is it?

Thats the problem, my counters have vanished on the following site -
I have no idea why or what happened. They are just gone.
They were created in early April. I also have another new site, created Arp 26/10 and these counters are fine.

Re: Lost all flags
Well it appears that the Flag Counter code is gone from your site. We don't have any control over your site's source code, so either an old file that didn't have the Flag Counter code on it was uploaded to your site, or someone deleted the Flag Counters from your site.
If you can restore an older version of your site, your Flag Counter data should be safe on our servers.

Re: Lost all flags
Tom,
Can it that be that tribalpages.com allows only a limited quantity of external code on their sub pages? (what your page is)
It seems to me a lot of other external code disappeared as well. As far as I remember when having checked your site last time in April.
I suggest to ask them for any limitations they set.

Jens - Visited your site in return. I appreciate your suggestion. There don`t appear to be restrictions, This all came about while I was working on my site and had a visit from my Grandson. A wise person would have saved and logged off, but I think you know the end of this story. The good news is the ability to regain flags so quickly by using the programs in my links signature.

Yes Tom, I remember the rush of adrenaline when having pressed the wrong button. And it took hours to reinstall all.
However, it can be that tribalpages.com offers a restore function either on your management side or on their back end. I know that the restore functionality is not so much advertised.
If you intent to have the version restored I find it worth having at least asked them.
Have an nice weekend
Jens
