Those German state flags look really good - I would definitely like a German counter to go with the Australian counter that Jeremy will hopefully supply.

I think a survey about this topic would be helpful and it would be democratically.Just a encouragement from myself to keep the ideas alive, of course everybody else can help and discuss about it.

In case of Argentina, most of the visits can be identified by province (and even city) I get hundreds of daily visits and it is too rare to see just "Argentina" as location for the given IP. As far as I know (by comments, known visitors, etc.) the location given is very accurate.

Regarding the other point, I'm not sure if a survey is a good idea. Jeremy can program any FC he wants (or even none, as well) and having a survey saying "flagcounter for this country is the most wanted" may put many pressure on him to do it...
