Flag counter and cookies
I have posted a free Flag Counter on my webside. I regularly run CCleaner - which also removes cookies. Will this affect the flags already registered there; or will it affect it in any negative way? Would be thankful for answer..
I find Flag Counter very inspiring, and consider upgrading to Pro..

Re: Flag counter and cookies
Running CCleaner will not affect the counts in your flagcounter in any way. But after you clean out your cookies, when you visit your own site, you will be counted as a new visitor because you have removed your flagcounter cookie. The cookie helps flagcounter determine whether someone is a new visitor or not.

Actually if you only want to get a new flag every time you visit, you can just simply not save any cookies. That also might do, just a suggestion ;)

I agree. I use it all the time, but I set it to not remove cookies since removing cookies forces me to log into all my normal websites with a user name and password after every cleanup.

Cookies are tiny text files, so, yes, there is room for lots and lots of them on any PC.
