Link instead of flag
instead of an actual flag, I only have a link which takes me to the count. I prefer for my followers to see the little square flag. I tried re-doing it with "gadgets," but I still can only get the link. Any ideas???

Hi, can you give us the specifics: Where did you put your flagcounter?
And I hope I get you right, do you mean your flagcounter image didn't show up?

Yes, I cannot see the flag counter image. I put the link above my "followers" on blogspot and can click on the link, but cannot make the box with all the flags appear as well. thanks for reply.

You must not have copied the entire code generated by flagcounter into the widget you created. Try again and just copy the entire code into the html/javascript portion of the widget without leaving anything out. The link that is generated at flagcounter is for an image with a link behind it that gets followed when you click on the image. If you are not getting the image, you must have followed just the link and not the entire code.
If you put your site in your profile, we can look at your site and see what is going on also. Because we don't have that information, we are just guessing about what the problem might be.

Ok, realsexyandhuman has made following mistake. She copied the link to her flagcounter instead of the html.
If you follow the link to your counter
you will see below the flags an little button named "regenerate html". Press and you will get a page where you can design your flag counter. The result should be a bit of code which should replace the link.; means you should have only the code and not the link in use.
If you like the default presentation the code is
<a href=" src=" alt="Free counters!" border="0"></a>
Do not use line breaks, all in one line!
The quantity of flags shown or the columns can easily changed in the code.
