I know... I've known about their financial situation for about 3 years. The update has nothing to do with it though. They site will be fully functional in about 2 weeks, with updates coming later. The main concern was, and is, that they could have waited until the beta is completely done before launching it.

We could for a while now. They say the limit is only temporary though.

I miss our games on Last FM. Hopefuly old groups still working if you have links, so easy to visit one site and give flags to all. No messages but counters visible there.

They are doing things every day. Just not some very visible changes... Some more album covers are back, you can now tag artists again and there's the 'People listening now' widget on artist pages. It's taking them longer than they promised though, they still haven't finished migrating data from the old site to the new. As soon as that's done, they will start adding currently disabled stuff.

"We’re currently migrating data (including scrobbles) to our new site and to minimise data disruption, we’ve temporarily suspended some functionality. Rest assured, we’re re-activating features one-by-one as soon as each data migration completes. Keep an eye on progress here."
