Difference between Webalizer data and Flagcounter
hi,
I have a flagcounter since August 1st and I check sometimes also the Webalizer data. It seems that I get a lot of hits worldwide but they don't show up in my flagcounter. How is that possible? My flagcounter is on the main index page of my site.

Is that 4100+ hits from .nl alone? In 10 days? 
Cause there are only 35 on FC since August 1.
Do you use webalizer for familypeek only?
And for unresolved/unknown check answer to question nr. 7 in FAQ.

From what I can tell, webalizer's means of determining what country to list is just based on the domain name that the IP of the visitor resolves to.
In this case if you're in the UK and your IP resolves to virgin.net or ntl.com (as many UK users will) you're going to show up as "network" and "US Commercial" respectively. Or if in Canada and you're using Rogers Communications, your IP will resolve to rogers.com (another "US Commercial")
The system we use goes a whole lot further than that.
