Total Number???
Can anyone give me a current answer to
"How Many Countries Are There?"
I've read 252, 240, 249 and other figures.
The "Country List" currently has 241.
My "Details" lists that I have 124 and 120 missing. That makes 244.
I'm confused (but that's not unusual).
Any help?? I'm curious to see if I've got more than half of all the countries.

Thanks - so 247 it is.
Now, with my list saying I have 124 and am missing 120, how can I find what the other 3 are to make 247?
Also, is there an updated country list available?

Those will most probably be the strictly VPN countries.
Any of these:
South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
Svalbard
Cocos (Keeling) Islands
French Southern and Antarctic Lands
Western Sahara
Christmas Island
Pitcairn Islands
Norfolk Island
251/251 countries and 3,860/3,860 flags collected.

OK - the current country list does not have 4 of your list:
1. South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
2. Cocos (Keeling) Islands
3. French Southern and Antarctic Lands
4. Pitcairn Islands
That brings the list up to 245.
Any chance we could get an updated list for the forum?

Well, open my counter and sort the countries by name. That's the list. Bouvet, Heard and Netherlands Antilles are dead.
251/251 countries and 3,860/3,860 flags collected.
