As has been posted in the past, Iceland only uses their counties for traditional purposes, and an 8 region division is more accurate (and certainly more easy to collect).

Starting now, the 8 regions of Iceland will be collectible, instead of the previous list of counties, which none of our customers had been able to complete.

We have put the effort into mapping the counties to the regions where possible, and many customers will already have as many as 7 of the new regions already.

However, many customers will notice this conversion in seeing a reduction in the number of regions that you have collected.  Please do not be alarmed, this has happened for everyone who has collected Iceland regions.  We have asked many customers for their feedback, and a great deal of consideration was put into this decision, including previous discussions here on the forum, such as at http://flagcounter.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=14305
