Currently my favourites for becoming the next country with region are Fiji, Iran, Taiwan, Trinidad & Tobago, Tunisia

Yeah, the problem with England is that it has such a large population, plus it's English-speaking, that it rapidly collects a large number of hits. (Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are about right in size, though.)
Ideally, I'd suggest having a two-level system for the U.K. where the traditional shires like "Staffordshire, England" have their own flags. In other words, keep Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland as is, but have all the English shires with their own flags under the U.K.
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem possible. One major problem is that far too many U.K. hits -- about a quarter or so on a typical counter -- are "Unknown" regionally; it can't even tell if it's from England or one of the other Nations. 
Come on, U.K., why are you so sloppy?

We have received many requests for a further breakdown of the UK. Since we have so many good customers there, we have been working hard on a solution and have something in the works, coming very soon.
