I can confirm there is a problem with the reset function.  It is one of our least used features, and was broken by improvements relating to a fail-safe put in place to prevent counters from losing data.

At the present time, we suggest simply creating a new counter, which has the same effect. We should be able to put a fix in place in the coming weeks for the reset feature.
