It registered my visit as Belgium, both as a real visitor and using different proxies.

it was doing that to me yesterday......and a few times as usa......but today it registers correctly, and the id is correct, yesterday it was clearly running through a proxy

Paul, I meant I had just visited the site right now, when I wrote my post #14. It says googleproxy on the FC image and, like you say, it sometimes leaves a California flag.
