How many US states are there?
I must be close to having a full collection of US flags (I have 44) - does anyone know how many US states there are - I always thought there were 51. All US flags gladly accepted.

I need US states,
oh yeah there is 50 states,
but there is also Washington, D.C (the capital of the USA) which I think will show up as another flag,
The flag counter may also count overseas territories (American Samoa, Wake Island, etc.) but I'm not sure.
I NEED US STATES, I ONLY GOT THREE!!!!

I just got New Hampshire, which makes 45, and I also got Puerto Rico on the global counter. I always thought Puerto Rico was a US state, apparently not.
