Lots of visitors in one day
I'm very new so bear with me if this has been asked many time before. I received 40 hits from one country, USA, within a few hours of creating a website. I know very few people in the USA who would be looking for the type of site it was connected with, Cricket. Is this usual? I only had a few visitors from the UK and they were told to look at the site. Where did the 40 Americans come from. Thank You.

Google is visiting your site frequently. Most visits will come from California. That can be a normal behavior.
