Terms of Service update
We have updated our Terms of Service to clarify our position regarding "comment" postings.
The sentence in bold below has been added:
***Terms of Service May 15, 2012 revision*** wrote:
You may not place your counter on websites of which you do not own or operate, or which you have obtained permission from the person who does own or operate the site. You further may not include your counter in "comments" to sites that you do not own or operate.
Although comments were previously covered by the assumption that you would not have permission from the person who owns or operates the site, we hope this addition will help clarify where we stand regarding such postings.
Greater than 99% of our users use their counter on their own websites or pages and are not in any way impacted by this.

Meh, whatever. I can live with that. I do not post comments anyway. Only posted a few on Zedge to complete Indonesia. I never posted on Flickr, so it really doesn't bother me.

You are right Mr Jeremy (sorry) even though a flag counter placed on a Flickr comment page is technically legal since whoever posts photos is in effect controlling that site. Flag Counters on comments pages should be banned completely.
Now to see if anybody actually wants any flags!
