I used the link above to get the state counter but it still shows a world flags..
I trully need the states one.

Welcome to the forum 
Your state counter's HTML code should start with states.flagcounter.com - world counters have no "states" in HTML codes, obviously.

remember: states code is a different to the world code, ie. you don't add states.flagcounter.com to the world code to get a states code (i guess 
), it's a completely different code that you get when you generate one on this website.

Is there a flag counter available with Australian States, or haven,t we got enough of them.
