New Caledonia Flag
Apparently there is some controversy surrounding the New Caledonia flag.
I don't know anything about the situation, but just received the following message via our feedback form:
Please kindly note the official flag of NEW CALEDONIA IS THE FRENCH FLAG.
So don't insult us with that flag you put on your website
So let's discuss it. Here's a poll to start...

according to an official document of the NC government, there is still discussion about the flags, however, both of them are used. The flag which is not the french one, is said to represent a separatist movement, or something like that. So I vote to keep the current one...it's more beautiful then the french (and I have 3 frenchs already, don't want another) =P

This is an easy one. The French are worse than the Americans and Brits when it comes to colonialism. But not as bad as the Spanish or Belgians.

As far as I know the flag used by FC is recognized in New Caledonia - maybe not in France :-))

I actually like the current one, but to be accurate it seems the French one is most correct for the moment per wikipedia
