No, it really is the same. He's got proof that his visits from Ingushetia were counted as Chechnya...

I agree, getting rather annoyed at my KZ and RU visits coming up as unknown, things have to change soon

I agree, getting rather annoyed at my KZ and RU visits coming up as unknown, things have to change soon
i spent 15 minutes yesterday trying to convince a girl from russia i wasnt a spammer, and my site wouldnt give her a virus!!!! lol...... (in russian by the way via a translator!!) and when she finally visited, and spent 16 minutes exploring my site (which has a counter on every page) she didnt even register at all....like she had never been there......
and ive had several similiar instances.....and ended up with an unknown or no region at all..... there are still a lot of database/counter issues in my opinion 
on a good note....my russian is improving !!!!!!

Apart from the server issue it is likely that she blocked external code when she visited your site.
That is a setting at my FF browser and if it is activated ....
BTW: Russian language is not difficult. Even little kids in Russia speak fluent Russian

If you were trying to convince a girl to visit you at HOME instead...
