This problem with symbols not appearing in private messages, like the plus + symbol, is still not fixed. It means the recipient does not get the link. Maybe u can close this topic if it is not going to be fixed.

That sound like a good idea because the initial problem of underscore hyphen was solved.
How about opening a new topic with a different header "Changing PM text editor to UTF8 format"? That would solve all editing problems
