Oh, that. It's a Last.FM group for flag collectors, where people help other people get flags they're missing.

i agree with this what jimctu wrote. look in my case, i am not last.fm user but i have some friends there. i had just looked again. i am on 3 homepages there, with a small counter and without counters of the various communities, because i am not a member of last.fm

its where people post lots of invisible counters on multiple sites to gain hits........now if you disagree with this then fine.....but that isn't "helping people to get flags they are missing"

so then lets just put a counter on here..........its the same isn't it?
i would bet that some people on this forum have gained less than 10 flags for themselves

what do you think how many visitors i got daily by this 3 counters in my case? never 50 my friend ;) the people are always think it has a lot of counters and then many visits. holland25 explain it also very good. i do not understand all the excitement.

there is no excitement Alex.......my grief is why do people have to have so many counters on 1 page???????? i just don't understand the mentality.....it didn't used to be this way...... the whole fun of getting a new flag is now gone, because half the people have no idea where the new flag came from or in fact who got it for them.
and if 1 person gets a flag........then so does everyone else......... whats the point in that?

What's the difference between these: getting flags from a site with 50 counters, making lots of comments on flickr or tagged, using a proxy, or even making use of the flag offer and request sections here in forum ? Nothing really.

i can talk only about me. in my case i know to 95% from where the flags are coming. but look, also you and all others can got visits on the homepage and you don`t know who it was. the world wide web is big and i think this is normal. i think with the counters at the last.fm is a kind of "fashion" there. paul, many flags or in our case "new flags" you don`t get from there.

because you are doing it yourself.....getting your own flags.and to request a specific flag isnt the same as having somebody else fill your counter for you.
thats like somebody going to work, doing your job, and you get paid for doing nothing.
i've nothing against people who get their own flags.........what i am against is people posting heaps of counters etc to get hits/flags.............
and then being kicked out of groups for not posting somebody multiple counters?? LMAO 
?
isnt this supposed to be a bit of fun........some people need to chill a little
anyway as i said....this is my opinion..................DON'T ask me for a flag in future.....get your own!

yes alex, and i agree with that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but that isnt the same as 1 person getting a new flag, and another 50 or so get it as well.....................
no wonder the servers are slow sometimes.......a new hit has to hit so many counters all at once
