New and having problems with flags
Hi there. I'm new to the forum and Flag Counter, and wondered if anyone could help me please.
I am putting together a website for a friend, and was adding a flag counter. I currently have it placed on a page that is not as yet 'live' and it appears to be gathering visits/flags from those visiting what I have got up and running - I think, as I am in Australia, and the flag counter has added a number of visits from Australia, but I know several people from New Zealand have checked out the site, but no flag has been added from there.
Am I wrong in thinking visits to the website are being counted while the page the counter is on is not yet live? Thinking the counter was adding visits, I had put it on a hidden page until there were more visits.
Any help would be muchly appreciated - thankyou.

Your counter counts visits of the image, means every time when the image is being displayed the counter sets +1 to the appropriate country.
The visit will not be counted if people are checking the site and prevent the image display.
