Please tell your student that they have a visit from Malaysia and he greeted them "Apa Khabar?" which in English means "What's the News?"

A popular informal greeting is "Sudah Makan?" meaning "Have you eaten?"

They are welcome to visit me to look at the pictures I took in my travel. "Selamat Datang!" or "Welcome!"
