Sorry, but I don't think you can do it. Let's just keep it that way - or you can create a new flagcounter if you don't mind. So the new counter will count correctly who are the new visitors.

I like this option, thanks Jeremy. As whenever I received new flag it will be highly noticeable, so I'd prefer the clean flagcounter look

I'd give a 20/10, it's really a good option. I just had a thought of putting 'Banned Domains', in addition to 'Allowed Domains', for the users who prefer to list the sites that they don't want their flagcounters to be shown.
Or perhaps ask some more detailed stuffs on 'Delete' and 'Reset' Flagcounter, for example some words sent to the e-mail registered to the counter, so that in case of the counter got hacked, only the original user can delete or reset it.
Anyhow, those are just suggestions. I'm very satisfied with the options available for now. Thanks for this update, Jeremy!

That's because flagcounter only account unique visitors as one visit. So it counts the number of unique visitors, not the number of returning visitors.

Hi, can you please elaborate a little bit by 'can't get no connections'. Are they visiting your site but is not recorded in the counter? Or is it that your site did not get visits from Africa and China?

Just change maxflags=12 into maxflags=15, and it will be done ;)

To be honest I didn't expect over 10000 users here are BOTs. I am always annoyed whenever reCAPTCHA asked me to enter those numbers. But after you telling this, it's really a good thing to install reCAPTCHA
