Underscore Hyphen
Why does the underscore or hyphen symbol never appear when you send or receive a private message on this site ? It means you cannot send or receive an email address if it includes one of those symbols. They, or you, just see it as a... space. So they don't know what it is. And so it doesn't work.

This has not been fixed. Symbols like plus or equals or the "at" sign do not appear in private message.

Yeah, the @ sign works. Sorry for my error. But the plus sign, no. It's been corroborated by a recipient.
