Is this normal to get no information via email about incoming messages to the inbox?
I look rarely in this inbox. It would be great to get an email about incoming personal messages!

Did you checked your profile? Do you have a tick box there?
If not, make a suggestion at the appropriate forum section. I think it is an useful option worth being considered.
