Posting An Invisible Code

Hi all..............just discovered your great flag service !!!!

Ok...so the problem i have isi that it's not going to be possible to put a FC on my home page, in fact due to the layout of my site it can only go in a few places..
If i place the FC on 1 page, can i then implement an invisible code on each page that links to the counter?
I would really like a FC, but it's where to put it !!!

Many Thanks Paul

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

Invisible code is not allowed according to Flag Counter terms.
What you can do is to limit the displayed flags. Your visitors will be counted and the used space is at minimum. I don't know if one flag is working but two as minimum works.

Try it and give feedback how it works.

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

Hmmmmm..... but as i said i only have certain pages where i could realistically put an FC, one of which cannot be the homepage.
This would surely then defaet the object, because unless a visitor visited the actual page the FC was on i wouldnt get a flag!!!!!!

The counter code i'm using at the moment has an invisible code on each page, linking to a main point, therefor only 1 counter is displayed, but each page visit counts.

Wouldnt this make better sense rather than needing a FC on each page !!

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

That is unfortunately the truth. FC only counts when their image is been displayed. You can try to put it in the footer section perhaps.
I don't believe that you will have absolutely no space to place a little div showing two flags.

You can put your suggestion to the
"Suggestion and Feedback"  forum section.

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

We do not allow an invisible code to be used unless you have Flag Counter Pro.

The reason is simple, we give you the service free in exchange for people being able to find us.

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

well yea i can understand that, but i'm sure one huge FC on one page is sufficient... must we really have one on every page?!!
That's the reason i won't be using it..... just not practical for my site.

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

Upgrade to Pro version and you can hide the counter on sub-pages, as Jeremy was saying.

Re: Posting An Invisible Code

so if i pay for pro, i can have a flag on one page, and an invisible code on every other page??
i assume then the codes will all be linked, so it wouldn't matter what page the visitor visited, i would still get the flag ????
