A country named "Palestinian Territory, Occupied"
Hi,
I recently looked at my counters, and I saw the following entry:
30. Palestinian Territory, Occupied 1 July 4, 2011
Are you kidding me?!
You have a country that is not only called Palestine (there never was and still isn't a country named Palestine) but you call it "Palestinian Territory, Occupied" ????!
I looked at your country list, and could find neither Kosovo nor The Basque Country.
So, it raises the question: on what do you base your decision to include a country called "Palestinian Territory, Occupied" ?

I guess because:
1) It's Palestine
2) It's occupied
3) It has an internet domain

this is a very good question, I had always thought flagcounter was based on the country list form the CIA World Factbook, Kosovo is listed there but not Palestine

Nice to see that you take care to keep the discussion polite, and be civil when you write replies.
That being said, I did further research, and found that does include the "Occupied" string in the domain description, so - I guess my beef should be with them

No its not but I guess its considered the best 'US' reference for countries.
