Thanks for the info. I was searching for a counter that will reasonably accurately show visitor count and not unique visitors only but include repeat visitors. I can compare the data displayed with what is shown in cPanel on the server. I hope Flag Counter solves my problems.

My visit was counted today That is the good news.
What I have considered in the past is that it makes no sense to compare results of different analytic tools. They use different tracking technologies and it can not be said that one is the best, neither wordpress nor google or others.
Flag counter (FC) can only count visitors who have been displayed the FC image. If they visit you frequently and they don't clean their cookies in the meantime they will no be counted twice.

A good idea of checking what is going on is to check the FC visitor log. You will see only those visits registered by FC and you can check whether they are new or not counted as new.

Thanks for the visit but it does not count everyone as shown in my About page http://www.bachutha.com/about even Feedjit has similar mis-counts.

Is there a Worpdpress plugin version of Flag Counter?

Thanks, I clciked on Wordpress and entered my wordpress username, password and blog (bachutha.com) and then hit post. It went busy for  a while then came back. I checked my Wordpress admin panel and did not see any new plugins to activate.

I checked my emails but there is no new plugins to upload to my self-hosted Wordpress site.

Is this okay? Does it upgrade the original code transparently?

Do I have to copy the new regenerated code after clicking on Wordpress?
