Hi,
I've got the same problem with two of my flagcounters. Yesterday it worked properly, but today instead of images there's only a "free counters" text.

It started to work again but counting is not proper (lost a few hunderds of hits) - I have deleted both from my website. It's not so reliable as advertised...

The reason was that S09 has had hardware problems.
