Regional flags for Irish Republic
Hi Jeremy -
what about regional flags for the Irish Republic?
There are two options:
1. The traditional provinces of Leinster, Ulster, Munster, and Connacht, all of which have nice heraldic flags that are still flown today:
2. The twenty six traditional counties, all of which have flags to support county sports teams: (here, only Cavan, Monaghan, and Donegal from Ulster are in the Irish Republic).
Either of these would make a nice addition to Flag Counter Pro.
Any thoughts from Irish members of the forum??

Re: Regional flags for Irish Republic
...While I know that the Irish Republic is not a part of the UK (just to be clear on that sensitive issue ) I would think that similar regional flags and/or symbols are found for the counties/shires of the UK. It's a bit odd that the whole of England is represented by only one flag when smaller countries (such as Sweden where I live) have a large number of heraldic/regional flags. I'll admit I haven't researched the issue, but I'm sure British members of the forum are knowledgeable on this issue.
