Flag Counter delaying Page Load times - Please Help
when I go to my site the page takes time to load and bottom of the Status Bar shows page connecting to Flag Counter.. Is there a way to speed up and have the download run in the background while the page loads? Problem is it disables the scroll bars on page till it connects and gets the data.
Please help.

Can it be a problem of your download speed?
Does the problem persist if you place the FC at a bottom of your page, means after downloading all other parts of your page content?
Providing your URL might be useful to identify the problem too.

I am having same problem. The speed of loading the img is tooo slow.

nomy; It needed less than a second to visit your page from Germany. What speed do you expect to see?

Which server are you on? We have identified some delays due to the maximum number of connections being reached on a couple of the servers, but have increased that number and things should be going faster now.

Its fine now. The website is not the problem I know the website is fast because I recently change providers.
Well, the problem is that sometimes it just showing "Reading s01.flagcounter.com" on firefox. It stays like that and you cant see the image. This Blocks some other stuff from load and working. I am not sure why this happens. Its when the flagcounter server is busy?

Thank for your responses, It delays saying waiting for s07.flagcounter.com The speed is not a problem at all for the internet connection only for loading this page. I will soon provide external link as it is currently password protected till it is in production. I have tested from multiple locations and it is delaying.
Will update soon with the link, I have even moved the flag counter code to Webpart under Content Editor instead of raw code on the page itself.
