We would suggest contacting your blog provider to ask them how to include images.

@henning: Apart from Jeremy's advice it would be helpful to know which blog provider/ host of homepage do you use.
It is likely that other forum users have the same blog provider/host of homepage and can assist.
If you use a homepage it would be also useful to know how you access the site and what options to manipulate the content/template you have.
The more information you can provide the better is the chance to get a sufficient answer.
