Manual proxy settings not working
When I manually change my proxy on my browser (IP and port), something seems to continue to override it. Would either my ISP or router override the browser setting?

Re: Manual proxy settings not working
Sorry Jeremy, please feel free to remove the post (I would if I could myself). There are those "experts" here who use proxies all the time, and I'm just trying to figure out why I can't get mine to work for manual entries, that's all. In hindsight, probably better suited to the "Misc." forum, not this one. My apologies.

Re: Manual proxy settings not working
Noernberg - have you removed your cookies? If not, Flagcounter won't count your visit as new and then it's not important what the IP indicates where you come from.
For example visit this site:
to see what information your browser sends out.
Hope that helps!
