I'm not from Iceland... (???)
I've visited my own site: The visits were not counted as unique ones - that's ok. But they were counted as visits from Iceland (!!!) - I'm definitely in Germany (and my provider, too)... ???

I know this sounds like an obvious suggestion, but were you using a proxy from Iceland at that time?

Did you visit your site using Opera Mobile? They use an icelandic server

Are you deleting your cookies? Or is something on your computer such as a virus scanner deleting them?
It isn't possible to "lose" flags, once you receive them they are permanent.
