I don't understand how the counter works
I just added my counter to my new blog. It says that I have one visitor from Canada (me) but is has that other counter that tells you how many views you have and says I have 29. Is it counting me every time I look at my page? If so, this is bothering me. It doesn't seem accurate.

Sounds like it's working correctly. One visitor from Canada, you and 29 pageviews. Yes, the pageview counter counts every pageview, and is non unique (and can be turned off!)

Well, you had to turn it on when you created your counter, because it is off by default.
You'll want to consult our FAQ for the instructions on modifying your Flag Counter. (or maybe installing a new one would be easier for you)
