I got a visitor from China in my visitor log, but didn't get the flag. I don't have a China flag as of now.

To the OP, how do you know you received a visitor from China that loaded your Flag Counter image?

back to the topic - a little information:
i was on boomingaway's site for the very first time today, but the system does not count germany on boomingaway's site as "last new visitor" on date october, 7th, but dated germany on october, 5th.
how could that be?
does the counter only work when the link is to a real web-site instead of leading directly to the flag-counter?
(grr..... my english is really rusty.... beg your pardon....)

Click on "boomingaway", there's a link to his website, this is just his flagcounter's statistics page.
And to answer:
