I'd like to remind our users of a provision on our Terms of Service that you might not have noticed.

We recently had one of our upstream providers contact us who was very unhappy that one of our customers used their Flag Counter in a spam message.  In accordance with our Terms of Service, that user's Flag Counter was terminated.  It is not permitted to include your counter in any email message.  If a recipient reports your message as being unsolicited, your counter could be terminated.

From the Terms:

E-MAIL AND UNSOLICITED E-MAIL

Individuals or organizations that promote or use spamming (unsolicited bulk e-mail) or methods thereof are not allowed to use our site. Any reported incident of spamming, or any form of unsolicited e-mail or newsgroup posting that includes a link to or references to a counter or its associated content, may result in IMMEDIATE termination of any related counters, and a ban from using any future Boardhost services.

Furthermore, you may not include a counter in ANY e-mail message, including but not limited to e-mail newsletters.
