Repeat Visitor Preference Is Set/But Still Excessive Visits
I am logged in to my Flag Counters, and my Repeat Visitor Preference is set to once every 24 hours. Still, since the month of June, the same person from the State of Ohio, the Country of Germany, Italy, and Great Britain, all registered as "Unknown" with the same computer system and browser on my log, have each visited my counters 3 to 10 times daily, and over 1,000 times since the month of June. How is this possible?

Hi Stan,
These are likely robots, such as search engines. If your settings are 24 hours, someone from the same IP address will not add to your counter again for 24 hours. This wouldn't stop a computer on the same network with a slightly different IP address from contributing to your flags.
