Bug with Recent Visitors counter?
I have had the World and US states counter for a few months now. I then added the recent visitors counter to my site yesterday. A few strange things have happened since -
1. It NEVER counted my visits on my site. Now, it counts every single visit of mine, and it shows me under recent visitors.
2. It seems to count a visit from every single visitor now, even old visitors. I use gostats, where I can see who is visiting my site. Some visitors would never be counted, but now they are.
3. It does not seem to count every single visitor for my US States counter. Thus, there is a big discrepancy between my World and US states counter. For example, the latest visit from California in my World counter is May 2nd, but in my US states counter is April 29th. There are a few more states that have this problem.
Thus, it seems like I would get a lot more flags by leaving the recent visitors counter on. This does not seem like the intent of having the counter there though and it feels like cheating to me!

It looks like you are using the same Flag Counter in two places on your site. For top countries AND for recent visitors. This is not recommended and will result in unpredictable results, as you have seen.

Oh thanks, I did not know that. There should be a note in bold somewhere on the site saying this. I removed the recent visitors one. Thank you for doing a great job with the counter, and I look forward to more updates
