Counter in forum signatures?
Probably a stupid question, my apologies, I really suck at computer technology...
There are forums (similar to this one) where you can add pictures with links to your signature (unlike this one) but the "counter code for forums" doesn't work for most of these, they probably use slightly different codes. So how can I add a flagcounter to most forums' signatures? How should I rewrite my code to display the counter properly (and collect the flags from the thread visitors)?
if you want a Hungarian flag just post to this thread and I'll give you a visit. ;)

Re: Counter in forum signatures?
Don't you think that what you want to do is distorting the principles of the visits counters?
The counter allows you to know how many visitors you have from a determinate country and make one analyses of the content of your site (if it's adjusted to your visitors), but to me it seems that what you want to do is simply add visitors no matter how.
Sorry, I don't have nothing to do with that, it's just it's just the way I think.

Re: Counter in forum signatures?
I've just noticed it works on last.fm forums (many use this "strategy", now including me) but not on others, wondered why.
Yes, I'd like to "collect" many flags, I don't think it's unethical or something. That's what the request flags / flag offers forums are also for, right?

Re: Counter in forum signatures?
You can use the BBCode for forums, or HTML if they don't support the BBCode. Some forums don't accept both though. I think for last.fm they use BBCode.
