1.Listen In geography class,and see about that movies,did you thank about that?
It's a start, I guess. Didn't know you were 12 y.o.
To know people and the whole world only by geography classes and movies is cool, when you think about that realisticly, thinking of the places like they really are. I mean, you can't think that Africa is a sea of poverty, because there are amazing things over there - despite of the poverty.
I've never been there, but I'd like to be, if I had the opportunity.

I agree with you gui_augusto 
I've been there It's such an amazing continent.
Poverty in Africa is like how we have in Indonesia. They have really rich people, but there are really poor people. The gap between them is very high.
Unfortunately, mass media mostly shoot the poor side. which makes people have an image like that.
