@Lorelei.....it's GMT+1 now dear (BST)......the clock on here is -1
I'm not sure you understand. The site is set to GMT so that everyone using it has a common base time, no matter where in the world they are. Your local time may be GMT+1 now, but that matters nothing to anyone else here not on GMT locally. You were basically asking Jeremy to change the time on FC just because your own time zone had changed. Which is why it was such a moronic request.

I don't think so. Otherwise you wouldn't be the OP in this thread.

Re: Time
Lorelei, Gentlemen,
It is interesting to follow this discussion. In fact, people are too often confused to set up the forum time correctly.
The forum time is on GMT (or UTC for experts) and needs user specific settings if a user would have problems in working with GMT.
GMT has the reference to Greenwich. Each location on earth belongs to a specific time zone. This time zone is called UTC+xx hours if located E of Greenwich or UTC-xx hours if located W of Greenwich. Apart from countries which have a very lange extent from E to W, countries normally using one time zone.
The forum time can be setted individually. I normally set my forum time to GMT+1. If the daylight saving time applies I have to change that to GMT+2.
A forum member from the UK has to change is forum time from GMT+0 to GMT+1 if the daylight saving time applies. The same settings should apply for a member from the Canarian Islands.
I hope it was of some help.

No, it is just too confusing with the US changing 3 weeks before UK, and whenever everyone else does it.
I hope I live to see the day they leave the clocks alone.I totally agree with this. The daylight saving time is pure bullśhit...
Well, I don't agree with this for one only reason: for the Mediterranean countries, the one more hour of sunlight in the evening at Summer, is very good for our tourism!!
(sorry for the off topic)

Re: Time
@Nikolaos. You are so correct. Just leave the clocks always forward 1 hour, like now. And don't put them back. And leave Jens, resident atomic scientist, to his UTC time. And the Prince to Canary time.
