Option to change X.XXM to X,XXX,XXX
This doesn't pertain to me, and probably never will, but I just saw a counter with 1.52M. And to me, it seems to lose the overall impressiveness with just an M representing so many. 
If I was ever lucky enough to have that many visitors, I wouldn't want to have such an achievement summed up with an M.
I'd want all those lovely digits for the whole world to see.

To be honest it really doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind having Ms instead of numbers...

This is exactly right. We do not arbitrarily change the width of your counter so any other way of accommodating for large numbers would not meet the needs of the vast majority of customers.
