I would try the website html first and the second option if it doesn't work.
Check wordpress FAQ on how to place foreign images. That is the procedure how it should be handled.

Use html code to put FC on your wordpress site. Regenerate ur code and copy and paste to your own blog. FC will do all the technical bits.
