Seems I'm a little bit confused..In italian we don't make a big difference between "bandiera"
(flag) and "stemma" (coat of arms) You're right, Paul, it's surely a coat of arms! Btw on your (?) flagcentral also the "coat of arms" from Luzern is wrong but it's correct on flag counter. Sorry

Sorry Paul, but I had a look at the sites you mantioned and I've to tell you that all[u] flags indicated are [u]wrong 
I've never seen a flag like this aound!! Our "flag" and our "coat of arms" are simply the same!! I've seen the same problem on your "Flagcentral" for Luzern (but on flag counter is correct).
I don't want to be to annoying but just wanted to let you know

Hi Paul! Sorry but YOU ARE RIGHT!!! The flag from Ticino is correct in FlagCentral!! I'm living here since ages but never realized that it was different than the coat of arms 
I'm very sorry for all the mess I made (but I'm glad to have learnt something news thanks FlagCounter!!)
