Yeah, they are bots/crawlers. Most of those have SG IPs and there's no way to get rid of them, unfortunately

EDIT: Okay, I see you have a hit from Pitcairn. That's a VPN only country. Someone has been visiting your site using VPNs

Try adding your QRZ to the list of allowed sites (in your Management Section) and see if that changes anything. If not, then it's people viewing your site

You cannot hack a counter. It's a simple widget. Are they from a specific country? If yes, they might be Google bots/crawlers

250. And as for the regionals, that's a good question. My total number is 3,830 but some of the regions I collected in the past no longer exist. My guess? Around 3,770-3,780

Didn't you accidentally uncheck the "Show user signatures." thingy in the "Viewing Options" section of your profile?
