Re: Unknown flags - should they stay or should they go?

I want some form of them to stay.  When my summary says 132 countries have visited this site, I want there to be 132 flags on the image.  If some of them are white and grey, it does not matter to me, but having only 128 flags casts doubt on the counter accuracy itself.  As jojobaby suggested, you can replace the white and grey rectangles with something of your choosing, and perhaps put them at the end regardless of the number of visitors, but I think they should be part of the image.

Re: Unknown flags - should they stay or should they go?

i wont miss them if they would go, i think they dont look good...
but if they stay they sould have short cuts, as already said

could be
UN - unknown
SP - sattelite provider
PX - anonymus proxy

or something like that

Re: Unknown flags - should they stay or should they go?

I would vote for them to stay. Maybe they could be grouped in an "Unknown" countries, divided in "States" for each case, as it is with US/Canada visits.

If they leave, there was a bug when calculated the number of rows for the image, it left the space for these flags, even when they did not appear.

But perhaps on the image, instead of all ?'s we can make letter designations for the unknowns, like for unknown - asia pacific, we have AP

that's a standard, not something one "makes" randomly.

A1: Anonymous Proxy
A2: Satellite Provider
AP: Asia/Pacific
ZZ: Unknown (not sure about this one..)

I would like to see them as well, using jojobaby's suggestion. If a little flagcounter brand colours the white flag the better.
